What is HondaLink?

If you’ve been looking at new Honda vehicles for your Jackson commute, you’ve probably seen them featured with the HondaLink system. What is HondaLink? HondaLink is a first-generation system that allows drivers to connect their smartphone to their Honda vehicle. This enables them to access their favorite apps for streaming music, calls, texts, and navigation using their infotainment screen. HondaLink is also an app-based suite, meaning you can purchase additional services for your daily drive. HondaLink Features

HondaLink can be as connected as you want it to be on your commute. Drivers can use all of the features HondaLink has available or just a few, whichever helps them make the most of their driving experience. The HondaLink features sets are Basic, Link, Security, Remote, and Concierge. Most new Honda vehicles come with HondaLink Basic standard, which offers access to a digital owner’s manual, recall alerts, service scheduling, parking reminders, and roadside assistance. The other HondaLink feature sets include the following:

• Check mileage, fuel range, and oil life
• Receive service reminders, security alerts, and speed alerts
• Send destinations to your navigation system
• Request enhanced roadside assistance
• Remote-access your car
• Use a live assistant to make reservations

How Do I Connect to HondaLink?

Connecting to HondaLink is easy and only takes a few minutes of your time. First, park your car at your home and then follow these instructions:

1. Download and open the app for your Apple or Android smartphone
2. Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (if you don’t have it, check on the driver-side door jam)
3. Create a new account (enter an existing Honda ID to skip this step)
4. Follow the steps to sync your phone and vehicle with Bluetooth®
5. Select the HondaLink icon on the home screen of your car’s infotainment display
6. You’re ready to use HondaLink
