How Does LDW Work?

Cameras counted near the rearview mirror detect lane markings, and when your car’s wheels move beyond the lane. The system will then warn the driver with a dash indicator or aural warning that the vehicle is drifting. You can even set the system to vibrate the steering wheel and seat, or to engage automatic steering correction. LDW can help to prevent collisions due to:

In Honda models, this LDW activates automatically when you start the ignition. Also, keep in mind that LDW warnings will go off if you attempt to change lanes without signaling.
